Are you having a hard time saving
money? You always promise yourself to spend more wisely and save more cash.
Every time you see things you like, you look in your purse and get
disappointed, because you don’t have enough money to buy it. You want the
things you can’t have? Well that feels awful. This is the key to your financial
problems. Here are the steps on how to save money that I have read from the
January – February 2012 issue of Candy Magazine.
To start, the first step is to keep
a journal for your cash plan. Think of the things that you want to have and the
goals you want to achieve. As much as possible be specific on their amounts.
Arrange them, on the top are the most important down to the least important
things you need. Second, formulate a chart that will help you track all of your
saving and expenses. Taking note of everything will help you see the difference
of your savings every week. Check the latest saving you had, if it is lesser
than the week before, you can adjust as early as possible. Try to minimize
spending money for things you really don’t have to buy. Third, set a monthly
goal and target to keep you focused on what you are saving for.
To have an idea of the total amount
you’ll get for a year. The next step is to calculate your daily allowance and
multiply it by the number of school days you have. This step will help you see
if the amount you saved is enough for everything you will need. The fifth step
is to store your saved cash in a special locked box or bank account. This will
help you cash in your saving easier with no hassle. This will also secure your
money to avoid loss and confusion on where you kept your savings.
Sixth, in every goal you set,
estimate the cash and find out how far ahead you need to start saving. For
example, you have to pay for your field trip. You might need to start saving a
few months before the deadline payment since you need to pay for
transportation, food and other needs. Last step is to make it a point to
regularly write on your cash journal. Note all your expenses no matter how
small they may be.
You may be shocked to find out that
buying candy individually from the school canteen (Two Pesos per piece x Twenty
days a month = Forty Pesos) actually costs more than buying the whole pack from
the grocery (Twenty-five Pesos for a pack of Fifty Pieces) You instantly save
Fifteen Pesos from your allowance or One Hundred Fifty Pesos for Ten months for
the whole year!
Voila! You’ll have your wallet
loaded all year round! You just have to be wise and thrifty. Be productive so
you can save more. In following these steps you’ll save money in an instant.
Just always remember this super saving plan.
